You get a steady monthly source of additional income from PayU for referring your customers or clients to the PayU product suite. The pricing for partners can be found under the partner dashboard.

How do I refer merchants/customers from the partner dashboard?Β
You have three ways to refer merchants from the partner dashboard:
- Add Single Merchant from the left navigation bar on the partner dashboard. For more information, refer to Referral Onboarding.
- Add Multiple Merchants using the bulk referral feature from the left navigation bar on the partner dashboard. For more information, refer to Referral Onboarding.
- Using the referral link on the partner dashboard. For more information, refer to Refer Merchants using Referral Links.

Can I refer merchants without the partner portal? Using APIs?Β
Yes, you can refer merchants using APIs:
- Partner Integration APIs can be used to refer merchants, get merchant status (PAN verification, KYC, settlement, etc.). This is suitable for big platform partners. For more information, refer to Refer Merchants using Partner Integration APIs.
- Using OAuth to provide a co-branded solution with PayU with minimal integration. This is suitable for mid-size platform partners, individual resellers, website developers, etc. Β For more information, refer to Refer Merchants using Co-Branded (OAuth) Onboarding.

Can I complete the merchant profile on behalf of the merchants?Β
Yes, you can do it using any of the following methods based on the number of merchants you wish to onboard:
- Partner Portal. Details can be found here.
- Partner Integration APIs can be used to refer merchants, get merchant status (PAN verification, KYC, settlement, etc.). This is suitable for big platform partners. For more information, refer to Refer Merchants using Partner Integration APIs.

How do I check the status of the referred merchants?Β
The status of the referred merchants is available on the partner dashboard under referrals. Each merchant successfully referred has a MID (Merchant ID) attached to it once the referral is successful. You can also use our APIs here to get the status of referred merchants.

What payment methods are activated for my referred merchants?Β
Depending on the solution that the merchant chooses, we offer all payment methods including Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Netbanking, Wallets, COD, Buy Now Pay Later, EMIs, etc. Even international payments can be activated on request to KAM.

Incentives

How are my incentives calculated?Β
Incentives are the difference between the rates offered to you (partner) and the rate charged to the merchants for different payment methods. You can check your plan in the Menu, under the My Plan section. You can also check the merchant plan while referring a merchant. This can be verified once the merchant onboarding is completed on the merchant agreement.
Where can I view my incentives?Β
Your incentives are visible on the partner portal. For more information, refer to Track Incentives.
- How do I get my incentives? Are there any mandatory steps?Β
You need to complete the following steps:
- Complete your profile β enter general details, verify PAN, Bank, and KYC, and upload necessary documents.
- Ensure that merchants are transacting for you to earn incentives.
- Raise a signed invoice with your KAM based on the incentives calculated on the partner dashboard.
- Once the invoice is approved, incentives will be credited to your registered bank account on the 5th or 20th of every month.
- Iβm unable to see my incentives, what should I do?
- Check that your profile is completed.
- Ensure that referred merchants are transacting and their transactions have been settled.
- Raise an invoice with your KAM
- If you have done all these steps and are still facing issues, please raise a query with your KAM.
- How often can I raise an invoice on PayU Partner Portal?Β
You can raise an invoice once every month. However, invoice payments only happen on the 5th and 20th of every month.
