Wix is a cloud-based website builder with drag-and-drop tools and over 500+ ready-made templates help you build your website. Wix’s provides intuitive drag-and-drop functionality that allows you to manage your content assets and products on Wix’s frontend interface. Wix’s ready-made ecommerce templates can be used to customize all of your customer’s touchpoints, from storefront to checkout. The Wix platform offers you (retailers) to sell your goods online.

What does this app do?

The PayU India plugin app on Wix allows merchants to accept following payment methods on their Wix store:

  • Cards
    • VISA
    • MasterCard
    • Diners
    • American Express
  • Net Banking
  • UPI
  • EMI
  • Wallets

You can log on to your Wix account and quickly set up PayU as a payment mode for your customers. When your customer completes shopping and does check out, the customer is taken to PayU to make a secure payment using the above-listed cards. After your customer makes a payment on the PayU Payments page, the order is confirmed, and the customer is redirected back to your Wix store.

Integrate with Wix

After you set up your account in Wix, you can integrate PayU India as the payment platform for your customers.

Prerequisites

  • Credentials to log in to your Wix account.
  • Ensure that a store or site is set up on your Wix account where you want to configure the PayU as the payment provider
  • If any PayU India plugin is installed, it must be removed.

Procedure

To integrate Wix with PayU as a payment gateway:

  1. Log in to your Wix account if not already logged in.

    Your Wix account home page is displayed.

  1. Select Settings from the menu (at the bottom of the left navigation pane).

    The Settings page is displayed.

  1. Select Accept Payments on the Settings page.

    The Accept Payments page is displayed.

  1. Click See More Payment Options at the bottom.

    The More Payment Options page is displayed.

  1. Click Connect on the PayU India tile.

    The Connect PayU India page is displayed.

Scroll down to navigate to the **Account Information** section.

  1. Configure the merchant key and Salt.
  2. Enter your merchant key in the Merchant Key field.

Reference: For more information on how to generate the Key and Salt, refer to any of the following:

  1. Enter your Salt in the Merchant Salt field.
  2. Click Connect.

The “PayU India connected” message is displayed similar to the following screenshot.

Note:

PayU recommends this step to reconcile with PayU’s database after you receive the response. Verify the transaction details using the Verification Payment API. For API reference, refer to Verify Payment API..
