PayU payment gateway can be set up for the following Zoho products:

Zoho One

Zoho One provides an integrated system to transform your business' disparate activities into a more connected and agile organization.

You can integrate PayU with Zoho One to collect payments from your customers, create invoices, and send it to them. The invoicing is done using Zoho Invoice. The integration with Zoho Books involves the following:

  1. Install the PayU Extension from Zoho Marketplace
  2. Configure PayU Extension for Zoho One
  3. Verify the Zoho One Integration

Zoho Commerce

Zoho Commerce allows you create your online store. You can accept orders, track inventory, process payments, manage shipping, market your brand, and analyze your data using the various tools on Zoho Commerce Dashboard. Zoho Commerce provides templates to choose based on the products you will be selling so that you can quickly build your online store and start selling your products.

You can set up PayU as your payment gateway on Zoho Commerce to collect payments from your customers.

Zoho Invoice

Zoho Invoice is an online invoicing software designed to help freelancers and small businesses with invoicing and payment collection. For more information, refer to Zoho website.

Zoho Billing

Zoho Billing is an online billing and invoicing software that offers a range of features to help businesses manage their finances. It combines invoicing, expense management, project billing, and recurring billing. It also offers advanced invoicing features such as automated invoice creation with precise tax calculations, custom branding, invoice consolidation, and multi-currency support for global markets. Zoho Inventory

Zoho Inventory is an online inventory management software that enables businesses to manage their inventory, orders, shipping, and warehouses. It offers a range of features such as:

  • Accurate stock tracking
  • Multichannel selling
  • Warehouse management
  • Customizable workflows

Zoho Inventory is designed to support common inventory disciplines like periodic inventory management and first-in, first-out (FIFO). It is a flexible and extensible platform that can be personalized to work with your business needs.

After installing PayU Extension on Zoho Marketplace as described in Install the PayU Extension from Marketplace, configure the PayU extension for Zoho Inventory. For more information, refer to Enable PayU payment gateway for Zoho Inventory.

Install the PayU extension from Zoho Marketplace

To install PayU extension from Zoho Marketplace:

  1. Navigate to the following Zoho Marketplace website and log on using the Zoho Book credentials:

The Zoho Marketplace page is displayed.

  1. Search for PayU for Zoho Books using the Search apps field and select it.

    The PayU for Zoho Books page is displayed.

Configure PayU plugin

To configure PayU Plugin for Zoho One:

  1. Log in to your Zoho One account.
  2. Click the Settings button on top right and search for "Online Payments".

The Customer Payments page is displayed.

  1. Navigate to PayU under the Connected Payment Gateways section.

  2. Click Setup now under PayU.

    The Configure Gateway dialog box is displayed.

  1. Enter your merchant key in the Key field.

Note: You need to register or create an account on PayU Dashboard to get the merchant key and Salt. For viewing or generating your merchant key and Salt, refer to Generate Merchant Key and Salt

  1. Enter your Salt in the Salt field.
  2. Click Save.

Verify the Zoho One integration

To verify the PayU India integration with Zoho One:

  1. Navigate to Sales > Invoice on Zoho One.

    The All Invoices page is displayed.

  1. Click the New button on the top-right corner.

    The New Invoice page is displayed.

  1. Enter the details for the invoice. For more information, refer to Zoho One Help Documentation.
  2. Click Save and Send after providing the details.
    The Email To <Customer Name> page is displayed, where <Customer Name> is substituted with the customer name specified in Step 3.

  1. Click Send to verify the invoice.

Enable PayU payment gateway for Zoho Billing

To enable PayU payment gateway for Zoho Billing:

  1. Log on to Zoho Billing.
  2. Click the Settings button on the toolbar.

The Settings page is displayed.

  1. Select the Payment Gateway option under Online Payments.
  1. Navigate to PayU and then click Set up Now.

The Configure Gateway pop-up page is displayed similar to the following screenshot:

  1. Enter your merchant key in the Key field.

Note: You need to register or create an account on PayU Dashboard to get the merchant key and Salt. For viewing or generating your merchant key and Salt, refer to Generate Merchant Key and Salt

  1. Enter your Salt in the Salt field.
  2. Click Save.

Enable PayU payment gateway for Zoho Inventory

To enable PayU payment gateway for Zoho Inventory:

  1. Log on to Zoho Inventory.
  2. Click the Settings button on the toolbar.

The Settings page is displayed.

  1. Select the Customer Payments option under Online Payments.
  1. Navigate to PayU and then click Set up Now.

The Configure Gateway pop-up page is displayed similar to the following screenshot:

  1. Enter your merchant key in the Key field.

  1. Enter your Salt in the Salt field.
  2. Click Save.
