You can update your profile such as business details

Update Profile Before Onboarding

Before completing onboarding, you can view and update your general details, basic business, and bank details using the View & Edit button. This will navigate to PayU Home > Profile tab.

You can update the general details like Brand name, Mobile Number, and Password in the respective section.

You can edit the Business Address and operating address under the Business Details section and click Submit to update.

The bank details section enables you to edit the Account Holder’s Name, Bank Account Number and IFSC code.

Update Website Details

On the Website tab of the page, you can view and edit the Website or Application URLs and Product or Service details.

To update your website details:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Edit Profile > Website tab.

    The Website tab is displayed on the Profile page.

  1. Click Update then a new pop-up window with website details appears.

  1. Enter the required details in the respective fields and click Next.

  1. Enter the OTP received on the verified email ID or mobile number.
  2. Click Update Website Details to complete the action.
  3. Expand the Product/Services Details section.
  4. Update the URL of the page containing the product or service details in the respective field.
  5. Select the check box against the features present on your website.
  6. Click Submit to complete the action.

Update Documents

The Documents tab enables you to view and upload the proofs, Service agreement and produce the E-SIGN.

You can upload your proof using the Upload button and view the accepted proofs in the respective section.

After the documents are verified, the service agreement is displayed. You can Accept the service agreement and E-Sign it.

Update Profile on Dashboard

The following details can be updated using the PayU Dashboard:

If you want to update your profile before your onboarding is complete, refer to Edit Profile Before Onboarding. This includes uploading documents for verification.

Note:

When you try to update the details, the Verify Your Password pop-up page is displayed to verify your password.

To update your profile on Dashboard:

  1. Log on to PayU Dashboard.

  2. Click your name at the top-right corner and select Profile from the drop-down menu.

    The Profile page is displayed with the Basic Details tab selected.

  1. Update any of the following details as required:

Update Basic Details

To update the basic details such as your mobile number and password:

  1. Select the Basic Details tab if not already selected.

    The Profile page is displayed with the Basic Details tab selected.

  1. Click the Edit button (pencil) in the following fields and update the details:
    • Phone Number
    • Password
  2. Click Continue.

Business Details

To update your business details:

  1. Select the Business Details tab on the Profile page.
  2. Click the Edit button (pencil) in the following fields and update the details:

Business Website / App Details

Update your website or app details using the pop-up page displayed and click Submit:

Note: Your website or app details will be verified after you update and you can check the status on this page.

| GST Details | Update your GST details using the pop-up page displayed and click Submit. |
| Display Name | Update your display name using the pop-up page displayed and click Submit.
You will be asked for confirmation before proceeding with updating the display name, so click Yes, Edit. |

  1. Click Submit.

Update Bank Details

To update your business details:

  1. Select the Bank Details tab on the Profile page.
  2. Click the Edit button (pencil) in the following fields and update the details:

Account NumberUpdate your bank account number using the pop-up page displayed and click Submit:
  1. Click Submit.

Configure Checkout Settings

You can customize your customer-facing checkout page that is displayed when you are using PayU Hosted Checkout integration. For more information on PayU hosted Checkout integration, refer to PayU Hosted Checkout.

To update your brand settings, navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Brand Settings.

Company Logo

Expand the Company Logo section. Click Select the logo file from your library to select your logo and click Upload to complete the action.

Notes: You need to ensure the following so that your company logo is displayed on Checkout page:

  • Size of the logo image is 90Γ—90
  • Format of the logo image is PNG

Owner Signature

You can upload an owner signature in your invoices using this function. Expand the Owner Signature section. Click Select the file from your library to select the signature file and click Upload to complete the action.

Change Display Language – Vernacular Support

Expand the Checkout Settings section and select the language from the Select Language drop-down list that has to be displayed on the Checkout page. Expand the Checkout Settings section. Use the colour chooser in the Theme Colour and Payment Button fields to select the desired theme, you can preview the changes on the right side of the page. You can enter the hex colour code in the Enter hex field for custom colour. After you configure the settings, click Save.

Note:

You can use the display_lang request parameter of the _payment API to change the language. For more information, refer to Change the Language.

Customer Checkout Section Theme

Expand the Checkout Settings section. Use the colour chooser in the Theme Colour and Payment Button fields to select the desired theme, you can preview the changes on the right side of the page. You can enter the hex colour code in the Enter hex field for custom colour. After you configure the settings, click Save.

Note:

Use the Reset to Default button to cancel all the changes made in this section.

Checkout Payment Modes

By default, the following payment modes are enabled for merchants on PayU Payment page (with PayU Hosted Checkout integration):- Cards (Debit Card and Credit Card)

  • NetBanking
  • UPI
  • WalletYou can enable other payment modes by using the Payment Modes page in Dashboard > Settings.- ENACH
  • Buy Now Pay Later
  • EMI
  • International Payments

Note:

You can enable or activate any of the above payment modes only if your are eligible or you have signed an agreement with PayU. If you are unable to raise request using Dashboard, contact your PayU Key Account Manager._The following procedures describes how to enable payment mode if you are already eligible and raise a request for activating payment mode if you are not eligible.### Enable a Payment ModeTo enable payment modes on PayU Payment page:1. Navigate toΒ Dashboard > Settings > Payment Modes.

The Payment Modes page is displayed.2. Select any of the payment mode tile that you wish to activate.

If you are eligible for the payment mode, the Activate Now button is displayed. For example, the Activate Now button is enabled in the EMI tab of the Payment Modes of page similar to the following screenshot:3. Click Activate Now.

A pop-up dialog box is displayed similar to the following screenshot:

  1. Click Proceed to activate.

    A confirmation message is displayed with the list of cards supporting the EMI feature similar to the following screenshot:

Request for Activation of a Payment Mode

If you are not eligible for a payment mode, PayU allows you to raise a request.To request for activation of a payment mode:

  1. Navigate toΒ Dashboard > Settings > Payment Modes.

    The Payment Modes page is displayed.2. Select any of the payment mode tile that you wish to request for activation.

    For example, if you select International Payments, the International Payments tab is displayed on Payment Modes page.

  2. Click Raise a Request to place request to activate international payments.

Note:

After your international payment mode is enabled by PayU, click Link PayPal Account to link your PayPal account and collect payments using PayPal too.

A confirmation message is displayed that the request is raised successfully. A ticket is created and the ticket details are displayed on the corresponding tab. You can click the ticket number and track the progress or For example, the ticket number is displayed for International Payments sucessfully:

Disable Checkout Payment Modes

Contact your PayU Key Account Manager to remove a payment mode from the Checkout page.

Notifications

You can add or edit email IDs and subscribe to the various types of notifications and manage the distribution of certain notifications.

To filter and save the notification view settings:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Notifications.
  2. Enter the required email ID in the Email field.
  3. Select the desired notification types in the Notification Type pane and save the changes.
